I looked at a few lakes around there and some of them had a foul odor along the shoreline. I can't remember if it was Therien or Lower Mann that had the really bad stench.
Ended up with a lot at Floating Stone Lake just a bit NW of Ashmont. Unfortunately my wife doesn't want a cabin so the lot is up for sale.
