ummmm....it ain't all THAT bad Ken...really.
..Once you get past a few things, like...stitching your finger a time or two.....jam it under the needle set a few times......break your last heavy duty needle as soon as you go to start something.
LMAO....Seriously tho...When I needed something done, I HAD to do it myself, so I went out and bought a 400 dollar Kenmore sewing machine at Sears!

I started by making nylon gun slings. Something no one else had, and I wanted.
Then, I slowly progressed to putting zippers in my hunting clothes....new padded shoulder straps on my backpack... straps on this, buttons and snaps on that.
THENNNNNN....The little wifey and myself even made some reversible clothes for the smaller ones, polar fleece jackets for us. I did a few orange vests too...just to prove I could.
BUTTTT...beware once your talents show themselves, all dignity and humanity will be taken from you ....it's gotten so bad my youngest daughter(14) asked ME...to fix her bra strap. ~~~~~~~~~~~sighhhhhhhh~~~~~~
I bared my soul...now you be sure to bare yours and keep us posted !!
