How many of you still weigh your big fish?
I caught an 8lb Rainbow Friday morning and the guy I was fishing with got lost and wasn't there when I caught it. So I measured it (26") and was in the process of reviving it when he showed up. We got a couple of pictures and a weight on the scale quick. When I got home, I checked a bunch of length to weight calculators that all estimated around 6lbs. Being old school, I always prefer to weigh a big fish and this incident didn't inspire me to change. But taking a length seems to be all the rage on YouTube, so I thought I'd see what others *really* do.
