I have been to Maui twice and Kona once. Much preferred Maui but I am beach guy. There is a beauty places to see on Maui. As others said vrbo would be the way to go imo. Get a condo, and a rental car. My parents really enjoyed honalulu as well, I think that’s the place with way more sight seeing. Not positive though since I haven’t been there.
