Are you referring to 12/5, 12/4 etc.?
1. 12(2) means full automatics.
2. 12(3) means converted automatics.
3. 12(4) means firearms prohibited by former prohibition order No. 12.
4. 12(5) means firearms prohibited by former prohibition order No 13.
5. 12(6) means handguns with a barrel length of 105 mm or less or that discharge .25 or .32 calibre ammunition.
There are many people with 12(6) classification pistols and revolvers that have ATT's to shoot them at their local ranges.
As I understand it 12(5)...12(2) are not being issued ATT. Thus are safe queens.
