A 5lb'r wont be a keeper even though it would be a good eater. Typically the 7lb'rs are the required 65cm length. At Pierce Lake, Sk the regs allow you to keep a couple smaller ones for the bbq or smoker which is pretty awesome, the big oily fat ones go back.
