I love the shrieking choppy howl of my smaller Beagle. She emits a very similar shriek of excitement when I come home as when she scents a rabbit. One of the best parts of my day, usually.
Moon howling is also cool. When the bigger Beagle gets a little lunar, I enjoy that too. I don't let it carry on very long for the sake of my neighbours.
