Had a chance to visit the Calgary Shawnessy location a couple of weeks ago and was impressed. The one thing I like about some of the CT locations is they aren't keeping the rifles behind a counter. That's a pain in the arse in any gun shop and means you need a floor sales person around to answer whats what.
Shawnessy and Rocky Mountain House got it right. 2 feet in front of you behind glass, floor and eye level, prices where you can see them. Let's a guy do some close up browsing without having to track down a 19 year old part timer to ask what's what....which is pretty much always.
