I see that there's consideration of having the playoffs running into the summer months. I've read articles where they discussed the quality of the ice, especially in the southern US.
I wonder what the players and the players union think of that idea, especially since player contracts end on June 30 and many players will be UFA and RFA on July 1.
Without a doubt, discussions will be taking place on this issue. Should be interesting.
