Most of the ranchers I know never tie there dogs up. In fact they have multiple dogs just for chasing animals off.
Only the working dogs are kenneled.
When I hunt on there place I useally have a "friend" tag along.... He licks my face and keeps me warm.
If anyone who he let hunt on his place shot one of his dogs or one of his nabours dogs, to say he would be mad would be the least of your worries.
