I will see if I can get some pics that have been done already. Like I said, it's not me, it's my father making them. He did one for my son three years ago. I also have one of, if not the first rod he ever did from the late 70's or early 80's. A fiberglass Fenwick 8'6", 5 piece 6 weight.
The biggest reason that he started building was the grips. Neither one of us have big hands by any means but all the factory grip feel like pencils. He probably has close to 100 build under him now. Mostly freshwater rods but he has even done a handful of saltwater rods for his uncle and nephew.
