I did it in Slave Lake on the long weekend just passed. wasn't an issue, but made sure to take out my trolling motor, fish finder, tackle box, etc. Then I locked the trailer via swing tongue lock, coupler pin lock and, coupler ball lock. (I even plugged in to the parking lot plugs to charge my trolling system)

I also got insurance prior to doing this though (at the suggestion of others on the forum) at it sure made me sleep better.

I ended up getting the insurance from Boatsmart assure, the same organization I completed my competency exam from, and the rate was really reasonable, and the coverage as well. (Note my policy has $5k "electronics" coverage with only $250 deductible.)

Reason I say that is we met a fellow on Lac Ste Anne this past weekend that told us about his FF being stolen while getting snacks at the grocery store, and I mentioned the insurance I got......where that would have been covered.
