You don't need to pull the motor off to fish electric only lakes. Just don't use it...tip it up if you want to get extra points from the guys in tubes/pontoons/kayaks/canoes. I wouldn't take the boat out too far on Williston, but smaller laker waters like Carbon Lake and Gwillim with some common sense would be fine. Not hard to hit $20k even in a tinner nowadays sadly.
