I've been catching Burbot at the Quesnell spot for the last few months. I've been saving them especially for you, cause they've all gone back. Some days nothing but Burbot seem to hit my hooks. Medium sized Shiners on either a jig head into the soft current by Whitemud creek's mouth, and/or a Pickeril rig rigged up with something smelly/night crawlers should do the trick. I've been having better luck with the jig heads personally, but I've seen a bunch of guys make it look easy with the PR too. Most of my fishing down there is done between 3pm and 9pm. Good Luck.
