Bags are around 6 cents each, but the machine costs a bit and man is it heavy! It has a fixed spot in my basement, where I take my food to it!
Got sick of buying a new machine every two years plus a small fortune in bags.

My old Chamber Vac is amazing, and unlikely one guy could steal it without a dolly. It used to live in a butcher shop. LS Faceplate got broken during an attempted theft, but they left it behind as it was so darn heavy
Maintenance is oil changes. It has a Busch Pump.
3 removeable spacer plates and can do MAP
Can cryovac a 5 kg Turkey in 14" x 20" bags
Lives on it's own heavy steel stand with bag storage on the lower shelf.
Lives next to my butcher table in the basement
