I've always laughed at the majority of local "pro-staffers". While there are a few who know their products, the majority are in it just to boost their ego with a jersey and stickers on their boat. I always love asking questions or putting them on the spot when they are giving bad advice to people who don't know any better. I've been a pro staffer in the waterfowl hunting industry before and left it because I didn't feel right pushing one brand when others are just as good. Like I said, not ALL are in it for the glory and not ALL are giving bad advice, but I've always laughed when a pro staff for one company promotes and pushes the product but then doesn't even use it themselves.
