Buy a Dewey one piece 17 cal rod. I use them to clean the 17 and 22. Better room for the patch using the 17 caliber Jag.
One word of warning, never use small caliber Carbon Fiber cleaning rods. There are more than a few guys who have put the broken end of one of those through their wrist of forearm. I got rid of even the 30 caliber fiber rod after the 22 Cal one Grenaded on breaking.
