Mine shoots well but I would not even compare it to a 10/22 or the rem 597.
My gevarm usually has at least one stovepipe failure for every mag I put through it.
The accuracy is decent but I don't remember ever being able to make the same kinds of groups I can with my 597VTR.

For $200 for a new 10/22 or 597 and $25-$30 for a 25-30 round mag compared to $50 for a 9 round mag I would buy a new one.

Add to this the aftermarket parts and accessories available for either of those and it's hard to justify spending any money on an old gevarm.
