ok , I'll admit to having zero experience/knowledge on the subject , but now seems like a good time to ask about all the different types of battery/non-battery type heating socks or liners etc .

Don't know how necessary they are/would be if actually hoofing it , but for sitting long term as asked about , I would figure they would be the answer , or at least a good start .

The fact that no one has brought them up , leads me to believe that they don't really work .

Any thoughts ?
