I think its just silly that they delete anything. This could be a good data base so that buyers and sellers know what things are going for (Or at least asking price)
Any deleting does nothing but help sellers and takes away knowledge from buyers.
As to the OP.. I don't take the "On sale price" into account when selling a used rifle. List price is sufficient to figure things out.
