You're in the wrong drainage for athabows at Fairfax, they are just plain old fashioned hatchery fish. Lots of good lakes in Alberta, check out the stocking list and you'll find many new spots to try. Note other lakes in that area have quality regs, no bait and reduced limits. Check before you go, good luck.
