Speaking of disposable stoves, I whipped off a few different beer can alcohol stoves and they work slick! 6 minutes to boil 2 cups of water, using 25 ml of alcohol. They weigh nothing and packing a cup (250ml) of alcohol, will boil you 20 cups of water, so enough for 5 days by my consumption.
I'm having fun trying this stuff out.

I see a lot of weight savings playing around with these ideas
but what about speed? my stove is only a couple 3 min to get 500ml boiled
i would be worried i would crush the beer can in my bag as i pack it small n tight
