Well if you can shoot a half inch group at 100 yards, I'm sure you won't have trouble making that 400 yard shot..Eventually..and also the key is, if YOU can make the shot, not the gun. My xbolt .22-250 will shoot holes touching on paper at 100 yards..although, sometimes I cannot.
I never have had any ejections issues with my 30-06 xbolt. My xbolt seems to like the Winchester 168 grain silver tips.
