You and I both...waste of time and money in alberta anymore. Now the central lakes with the new pike closures will get the last remnant perch fished out. I'm pretty sure fish weren't put on the earth to bail out a sorry excuse for a government an 11 dollar tag at a time. Or have a hook pounded into their head once a day all summer long and thrown back for the next dude to flop into the boat. It's gonna be pike tags next. They'll never open those closed lakes again without trying to make a buck off of every fish that goes into the frying pan.
