This thread should be called Lesser Slave Lake, not Slave Lake which is confusing - there is lots of hard water out there and most of the fishing is the west basin !
Due to the number of huts at Joussard, there is always a trail out to the fishing area. I've seen lots of frontwheel drive cars out there, but its mostly 4x4, quads, sleds and sxs. Almost a 100 huts now, biggest concentration on the lake I would say.
