I grew up shooting a similar 125 same one as did my father when it was purchased new..in the 60's when he was a kid. Great little gun, the action and trigger is far better than any of my american built .22s.

.

the shatty scope has since been replaced with a cheap but better BSA

My good friend has a 310(?) and when we went shooting the other day, even properly cleaned his 64 action still seemed clunky at the end compared to the 125 and the both shot roughly the same groups.

+40 years of shooting and never any problem. I love this gun !!

I'll also try hijack this thread with a question of my own

I just purchaced and recived a 22mag both the previous owner and now myself cannot figure out the model. Any Help

64 action
4 shot clip
anschutz marking (of course)
# 519XXX

He registered it as a 141m savage/anschutz but from all my reading it should have the "Savage <> Anschutz " stamped on it which it does not. It has a similar stock the the 141m but does not have the dark inlay at the frount.
I tore it down and found no other marks..???...any help would be good..sorry no pic yet.
