Smile Had the same problem

The advice is good, use penetrating oil, try harder, I used a cloth over the tube and slip joint pliers. It needed pulling more than turning.

The tube IMO needed a very good cleaning.

Tell us what happens.

The size of choke will be fine for pheasants.
