Dec 08th Update – Sunbreaker Boat Launch RR 22 – Dangerous Ice Conditions !

Sylvan has at least 6” of snow which created a number of ice heaves and lots flood water, we were out 75 paces/yds and only found 5” ice with about 1" flood water, you can’t drive a vehicle onto the lake, proceed with caution under these conditions. We checked Norglenwold area better but similar, no one got a booter today. Also noticed there were no shacks brought down to to lake waiting to be dragged on.

A few pics.

D.

5 feet from the boat launch lake access road on that clear patch of ice < 2" at most.

Look closely, we were out about 50 paces & < 1.5" ice in this black hole.

Gull has lots of snow and 200 yds/paces out about 7” ice with some flood water coming up the hole after we drilled.

Hey Mr ….. Catch Any ????
