Yup, in my opinion they are. Nothing more than a stevens with a floor-plate. So if adding a floor plate costs 150-250 bucks, than I'd buy a stevens. BTW, I've seen stevens for 299 this fall but up to 399 as well. Stevens shoot better as well.
