YES! There are feral pigs in Alberta that need to be turned into Bacon.
Real life experience? Find me 3 farmers that have had any sizeable amount of damge too anything by hogs in the last few years around here? I can't understand why people like you seem to think these pigs are going to destroy the world? They created some problems when they first showed up, then, they got all there heads blown off. Thats about the size of it. Their's still a few around but they stick too useless swampland mostly. If they don't they get killed. Thats That!

That's the problem with getting ALL your info. from google WB, sometimes you have too actually be in the middle of it in real life to actually see whats going on.
