At 500 yds with a 250 gr bullet at 2600 ft per sec, the 358 drops 66 inches while the 338 only drops 64.5. Not much flatter , but the bullet size should deliver more horse power right because the bullet is of greater diameter. More sq inches of impact over lbs per sq. inch...

Have I got that right or am I reading the stuff wrong
