I'm not so great at identifying trout yet, but the guy in the sports shop told me I would mostly find brookies and bulls where I was fishing, and I know they're not bulls.
Just went and checked a trout id guide. Since they're missing the white leading edge they can't be brookies eh? Oh well, I still had just as much fun catching them.
Either way, they were fiesty little guys, leaping two feet clear out of the water.
