Maybe I'm just paranoid but I use good quality locks and lock everything down. Lock quads and jerry cans to back of truck, lock quads and jerry cans to travel trailer when camping and not around. Even have a lock on travel trailer hitch ball so no one can back underneath and drive off with it. It is proven if you make the thief spend a few minutes longer then he's comfortable with he'll move on to an easier target.
