I picked up a Zeiss V4 4-16 x 44mm with the illuminated fire dot reticle. My first Zeiss, I've had Kahles, Leica, and Leupold mostly the last 20 years. So far I'm pretty pleased with it, and my old eyes also appreciate that little red dot.
