I have fished Dore lake one weekend a year, usually in later part of June, I have always enjoyed it. Good fishing, it is common to catch 10lb pickrel on a #4 Len Thompson. There is perch in the lake, just never targeted them, have caught lots of small ones with the kids off the dock at the lodge.Good fishing in the bay closest to the old mink farm there. If you would like look up Dore lake lodge, and talk to Dwane or Val, there great people, and can tell you alot about the lake and the area.
