Moose for me, ever since I was a youngster and dad called to a bull and he answered back, the hair on my neck stood up, the adrenaline rose and wow, I was hooked. To this day calling to a grunting bull is a rush.
Now after my Outside of the Suffield base hunt, I will say I want to pursue Elk more and in their rut if possible. That south county hunt was just too much fun for this bush hunter, learning how a herd can hide out in the wide open was an eye opener.
