We've been out to Pigeon a few times this summer, and I agree with the posters above, that the fishing has been phenomenal. Two of us caught 89 fish in three hours one morning - 2 pike (one was 9 pounds and really healthy!), and 87 walleye. The majority of the fish we caught were really healthy, fat and good color. We did catch a couple that were skinny, but it was the minority for sure.
My son and I fished at the creek on the west side of the lake though, and the walleye we caught there did seem to be much skinnier than the ones we caught in the lake.
