Once it's in the back hole you could push in on the back of the spring with a punch and gently pry the front up with a set on needle nose pliers, use just enough force to clear the front of the bolt. If you bend it out of shape you are going to have extraction problems or worse, snap it off. Don't try to hat it upor you will ruin the spring temper. You need 3 hands for some of these things, a vice would help. Swearing at these kind of things usually helps
