Kold Kutter screws. A big bag will last forever and they are used for motorcycle ice racing so are crazy grippy. That's what I screw into my ice fishing boots so I don't see why they wouldn't work for wading boots if they have thick enough soles.
I use really short screws and they stay in pretty well. Even if I lose some there are so many in the bag that it's going to last me my lifetime.
