Lots of good area north of Wandering River on both sides of Hiway 63. Take two quads or better yet an Argo. There is some solid ground but quite a bit of Muskeg also.
Lots of hunters so any spot close to a road gets pounded pretty hard but there are always a few taken the first few days of the season. After that you need to get back in the bush a ways.
Up 881 on the West side of the highway can be good if you get away from the road. The boys from Janvier are out there now so you would have a pretty tough time finding an easy one close to any road.
