I only killed one moose with the 7mm-08, using the old 140gr Nosler Solid base ahead of IMR4895. At 250 yards, the bull started a slow walk, so I gave him three more rounds. Then he stopped , dropped his head, and collapsed. He was dead after the first round, but just didn't know it.
