Basically if you're an adult male with a compound it's the red/orange stake. If you're an adult female with a compound it's going to be the green one. (cubs, youth, trads & seniors all have different stakes)

Russ in FCA this changed three years ago. Males and females from same stake because M/F can be combined when less than 4 archers in a class.
There are only 3 stakes:
White max 30: Trads and Cubs and younger
Green max 40: Hunter Class, master Class, Cadet, Compound unaided
Orange max 50: Everyone else
Much simpler!....
