Bits of plastic from the tank in the carb or bowl, sits and settles to the bottom, then once it gets mixed up it floats around and does not cause an issue, maybe. Have seen alot of plastic bits come out of the tanks on new machines, and cause issues. Good place to start, take tank off and flush it out, clean the filter/screen at bottom of tank, then check the carb.
