There are lots of contributing factors, the warm water blob may have stunted growth, red tide has shown up, it looks like countless shiploads of ketchup was poured in the ocean. The water for the most part is very cold but in some areas up to 5 degrees warmer so the bait isn't coming in? Too warm for northern fish too cold for southern fish? A 5 or 50 or 50,000 year cycle?
They aren't there.
