Mostly the result of the fight itself not the barb.
More of a fish handling issue.
No evidence to support barbless. Infact see more people digging for their 10 cent hook instead of cutting the line now(because it is so much easier and will not hurt the fish any more-ya right).
And yes I do pinch them. Its the law. But only a feel-good law.
