Is this thing legal? I asked a co and he didn't think it was. He thought it qualified as a spring loaded hook and refered to the section in the regs that deals with them. I disagreed with him. (I do not own one and didn't want ot waste the money for something I cannot use) I am pretty good with the regs and like to be clearly legal. But I am not the one who can hand out tickets based on my opinion. So what is the real answer? Obviously some of us use them. I like contraptions and would like to try one.
