I haven't tried putting in right below the dam, but I've floated from RR20 to the highway 54 bridge. Keep in mind the float times vary greatly depending on the time of year and river conditions. Last spring the RR20 float to Hway 54 was just over 3 hours, way to fast...Later in the year it was double that
