My peeve is there should be a hunting rifle season for guys shooting up 200 yards and one for those shooting up to 800 yards. I spent a couple of hours to get within 200 yards of a nice whitetail. Was getting ready to set up for a shot when boom somebody dropped the buck from the hilltop I just painstakingly worked my way down from.
If there are separate seasons for bows and Xbows why not for rifles with long range setups....I could never afford one of those six thousand dollar rigs...just saying?
