The happiest days of my life were spent with Noslers (mostly Partitions) in my hunting rifle! I still load them for at least 3-7mm Rem Mags. I have switched to newer bullets(Accubonds) (Speer Deep Curls) etc. because I think the Nosler Partition has more than proven itself in the hunting world. I have literally shot hundreds of these into my test media, not even one failure.
I have also had some happy days with the Speer Grand Slam however I do not think they shoot as well as some of the other premium hunting bullets we have these days. I'm really liking the Speer Deep Curl at this time. 40 bucks, 70% + weight retention, there's a hundred in the box! One of the great values in hunting bullets today. A friend gave me a sample from his last elk. 132/175 gr.
This bullet completely penetrated a cow elk including a shoulder@300 yards. The bullet was found on the opposite hide.
