The incorrect aging of rams at registration is a Big Problem for sheep hunting's future.
ESRD is using age and horn size data to push for severely restricted regulation changes, a big part of their argument is that rams are taking longer to reach legal size. The over-aging of rams fudges the data in favour of these changes.
I hope the mistake was a 'mistake'....

Ya I see what you guys are seeing now. The one at the base is a false one that I counted as age 8.I still see 6.5. I usually go by where there 4 years lies and depending on where it sits is were I get that age.They say usually if the 4th year is higher than the eye that they are usually over 8, and the opp. for the 4th being highter.
